Poem: A Mother’s Son

If someone asked me have I treated u the best
I would have to lie
So shy and quiet
Sometimes You deserve to cry
You deserve a hi
And before I leave,
I’ll hug you goodbye
I’m solo to the end
But I’ll always have your back
Even if I have to sin
From pen to Facebook
When you’re unhappy
I hate the way your face looks
But I’m a sucka for mothers
And any real dude
Should cuff ya
Remember when I say
I love you…the same as the other day
